Resolves discrimination and harassment claims filed under the Ontario Human Rights Code * attempts to resolve applications by helping the parties first settle the claim through its mediation process
If mediation fails, a hearing is held to decide the application * legal assistance provided through the Human Rights Legal Support Centre
