Service Description:
|
The short-term residential bed program provides support to individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness, who have current involvement with the criminal justice system and are homeless.

Application:
|
Referrals are accepted through the Mental Health and Justice Short-term Residential Bed Registry.
Referrals from priority referral sources such as: mental health court support programs and associated court-based case management programs; short-term residential bed programs; prevention programs; courts/jails including probation officers; mental health and justice intensive case management services; Law and Mental Health Program CAMH and forensic assessment consultation; and treatment program FACT Ontario Shores Mental Health Centre.
