Service Description: Independent living community for seniors 65 years and older * offers a range of social housing options including rent geared to income for qualifying tenants * smoke-free policy
  • phase 1: one and two-bedroom apartments
  • phase 2: one-bedroom apartments that include meals, housekeeping and laundry services
  • phase 3: one-bedroom and bed-sitting rooms with meals, housekeeping and laundry services
Assisted Living Services/Supportive Housing (ALS/SH) available for tenants who meet specific criteria.* referrals are completed through Ontario Health atHome

Fees: Charge for senior housing varies, check with administrative assistant for services fees * rent-geared-to-income units available * Assisted Living/Supportive Housing is 100% funded by Ontario Health atHome * applicants must first be tenants of Legion Village Housing * applicants are subject to an assessment process to determine eligibility and there is a separate waiting list for services
